Under beautiful blue skies, Chester Elementary School’s promotion of the sixth grade class of 2022 took place on the high school football field on June 8. With a large crowd of parents, families and celebratory friends watching, the sixth graders were introduced, counseled and finally bid farewell to the school many have known as their school for the past seven years. Principal Colly Fischer and Plumas Unified School District board member Traci Holt offered words of encouragement and presented the students with diplomas.
The Class of 2022 included: Nalah Ackley, Lia Chase, Chase Chism, Zachary Dean, Hailey Delong, Patrick Gerbatz, Gwenivere Graham, Jack Graham, Riet Graves, Michael Haymore, Everlina Heng, Kevin Hughes, Kylie Kistle, Stevie Kuersten, Seth Linn, Ellie Martens, Maddisynlee Miller, Cash Monteith, Allison Moore, Justin Munjar, Aubrey Nashlund, Caden Norton, Lorna Rogers, Sophia Salazar, Jenna Schlueter, Miley Taddei, Josiah Van Giesen and Seth Waller.
Congratulations to all of you and good luck as you face the challenges of the next phase of your education.
